I'm making 8 main levels, one secret level. I also am going to include new textures and a few songs and sounds from PSX Doom/ Doom64 (they are made by the same audio guy.) Notably the menacing cry of the baron, and the more realistic pistol sound. I'm thinking I may include a few other sounds too, and Anthony said he would do the intermission screen music when I get farther along and know what I want etc...
Well, I decided on a name for now. Unless there is already a mod type thing by this name, I'm going with Doom II: Purgatory. Purgatory is the place between life and death right? Although probably can be used more loosely, that definition applies pretty well to the scenario in Doom games. I think I'll do a second deathmatch map too, so the game comes with two levels exclusive for deathmatch (the first one already finished) and of course I'll add deathmatch specific items to the story levels just like iD does.
All screenshots are done in the
Let's Raise Hell! (Ultra-Violence) skill level, and there may be SLIGHT changes in the final campaign thing from these pictures.
OK, I decided a location for the initial levels. To use a location no one has yet, I choose the asteroid Echion which is an asteroid that follows Jupiter's orbit around the Sun.

The Unmaker as an ultra rare weapon that is extremely effective against the boss. The behavior programming will be done by Erik, the settings will be done by me.
