PostSubject: New PC Project (NEW PICTURES!) (NOTE: HUGE LOAD!) (PART 2.)   Fri May 06, 2011 2:16 pm

I didn't want to flood up that other thread until it never loaded, so here.

Computer case with power supply installed.

Motherboard in box ready to be installed.

Motherboard mounted inside case.

i7-960 CPU sitting in protective case.

First coolant line is threaded through case.

CPU next to waterblock and thermal grease spreader.

CPU installed with thermal grease layered on surface (the gray stuff.)

CPU waterblock mounted onto the processor and motherboard.

Case jumpers connected, and taped to case with electric tape. (Heatsink is on ICH, the newest type of "Southbridge.")

RAM installed. The liquid heatpipe going around the CPU (NOT the liquid cooling that's glowing green, the "C" shaped pipe) is the Northbridge cooling, based on the same technology Big E's CPU Fan uses.

Geforce GTX560 Ti in all its glory.

Video card sitting on anti-static bag, waiting to be installed.

EAX HD 5.0 Platinum Quantum Wave sound card, also sitting on an anti-static bag.

Video card and sound card are installed, as is the resevour/pump of the liquid cooling set up (although not attached to any hoses yet.)

Liquid cooling rig fully attached! (Physically, coolant not full yet.)

Finished computer!

Radiator on back.

RAM and waterblock on CPU with coolant running through.

Power supply connectors.

Front of case.

Blurry picture of resivour/pump in action. The bright red LED in the background is an ICH/SouthBridge indicator of HDD activity.

All the sound card jacks are gold, but have colored lights inside that double as jack use detection, as well as jack identification color code.
